Where to watch the FA Cup Final in London, 2026

A proper guide to where to watch the 2026 FA Cup Final in London — pubs, sports bars, beer gardens with big screens, and the spots to avoid on final day.

Tom BradleyTom Bradley·22 April 2026·3 min read·London

FA Cup Final day in London is its own separate weekend. Whoever is in it, wherever you are watching, the rules are the same — get there an hour before kickoff, accept that the toilet queue will be a nightmare, and pick a venue that has a screen that does not freeze every time someone breathes near the router.

Here is where to actually watch it, by part of London, plus the bits you should avoid.

The big screen pubs

The Old Queen's Head in Angel has the best big-screen-pub setup in north London. Two rooms, a beer garden with screens, walk-in friendly until about 4pm, then it is queueing.

The Phoenix in Cavendish Square has been doing massive sports days for years. Big projector, sensible drinks pricing for zone 1, you book a table for 6+ otherwise it is standing.

Belushi's at London Bridge is the most obvious sports-bar choice and is genuinely fine — multiple screens, beer garden, food, walk-in by 3pm if you want a seat.

In east London, The Long Arm in Shoreditch has a proper Saturday football setup. Brewery on-site, screens through the room, sensible kitchen.

The fan zones

BOXPARK Wembley if you want to be near the stadium without a ticket — the atmosphere is the closest you get to being inside, the screens are huge, the queues are bad. Book a table.

BOXPARK Croydon for the south London option — same energy, less queue, easier to get out of afterwards.

Tobacco Dock sometimes runs a fan zone for the bigger finals, check listings.

By neighbourhood

Hackney/Shoreditch: The Long Arm, The Old Blue Last (proper boozer, multiple screens, gets very full very fast), The Star of Bethnal Green.

Camden/Islington: The Old Queen's Head, The Hawley Arms, The Old Eagle in Camden.

South London: The Camberwell Arms does it small-and-civilised on a big screen if you want to actually have a conversation. The Effra in Brixton for the proper south London local feel. The Sun & Doves in Camberwell has a beer garden screen that is unbelievable when the weather plays ball.

West London: The Cock Tavern in Chiswick, The Britannia in Kensington for the rugby-pub-doing-football-day vibe, The Goldhawk in Shepherd's Bush.

Central: The Phoenix Cavendish, The Cockpit in Blackfriars (tiny, gets full at 4pm sharp), The Sherlock Holmes for the tourists-and-locals mix.

What to look for in a venue

A big projector that has been used for football before. A bar that has staff stocked up. A toilet count that matches the punter count — this is the thing nobody checks until 70 minutes in. A beer garden as overflow. And ideally an outdoor TV for if the weather holds.

If a pub is advertising "FA Cup Final All Day Bottomless Brunch" — run. The screen will be rubbish and you will be paying £45 for a pitcher of warm prosecco.

What to avoid

Sports Bars in Leicester Square — tourist mark-up, will be mostly people on stag dos. Hotel sports bars generally — fine for the World Cup quarter-final, not for an FA Cup Final atmosphere. Anywhere advertising on TimeOut as "London's biggest screen for the final" — they always disappoint, always.

For watch parties, fan zones and pub takeovers across the city for FA Cup Final weekend, the London this-week page on Rifio is the one to check — it pulls in the smaller pop-up zones the big sites miss.

A note on transport

If your team is at Wembley, the post-match Jubilee line is a war zone. Plan to walk to Wembley Park station via the long way round, or get to BOXPARK Wembley early and stay until 8pm. Otherwise: stay south of the river entirely, the Thameslink and Overground around final time are surprisingly fine.

Have a sound one. Hope your lot wins.

Old Queen's Head Angel for North London is the right call, two rooms is the trick.

  • Emily H.·22 Apr 2026

The Long Arm Shoreditch is genuinely the best sports pub in east, glad to see it called out.

Belushi's gets unfairly slated, the London Bridge one is actually sound for the football.

  • Charlie K.·23 Apr 2026

BOXPARK Croydon over Wembley if you do not have a ticket — much easier exit, same energy.

  • Bea T.·23 Apr 2026

Sun & Doves beer garden tip is the right one if the weather plays ball, properly underrated.

Avoid Leicester Square sports bars, agreed. Last cup final my mate paid £8 for a pint of Carling there, mental.

Hawley Arms Camden screen always works, gets loud in the best way.

rifio listed three Cup Final fan zones I had not heard of, sound find. The neighbourhood filter is dead useful.
