From Policy to Action: Colorado’s Model for Building Performance and Equity
About this event
Colorado is building a nationally recognized model for improving building performance, lowering costs, and accelerating climate solutions. Join local and state policy leaders from across Colorado for a candid conversation on how jurisdictions are coordinating to reduce administrative burden for building owners, streamline compliance, and expand access to practical support.
The program spotlight includes equity-focused approaches that help owners overcome common barriers, from limited staff capacity to upfront capital constraints, while identifying projects that cut utility bills and improve comfort. We will share early lessons, what is working on the ground, and why Colorado’s collaborative approach is increasingly being replicated by cities and states across the country. The discussion will also highlight how Colorado’s policy environment is catalyzing climate tech innovation, enabling solutions developed here to scale across North America.
