AI for Everyone is a people‑first conversation exploring how AI can be an equalising force rather than something that reinforces existing inequalities.
Taking place as part of Global AI Adoption Day, this event sits within LSE Generate’s Race Equity Programme and brings together research, lived experience and practical action.
This event is open to anyone, from LSE or beyond.
We will start with a short introduction setting the scene, looking at the tension between AI as something controlled by a few and its potential to widen access, opportunity and power when adopted more equitably. A panel of AI inclusivity experts from across research, policy and practice will then share insights on what equitable AI adoption really looks like and where organisations often get it wrong.
The session will finish with an interactive exercise, giving participants the chance to apply these ideas and think through how people‑centred, inclusive AI can be put into practice in real‑world contexts.
