San Francisco International Airport's (SFO) goal for Zero Waste is to achieve a 90% waste diversion rate by 2030. At SFO we use a variety of methods to help us reduce and divert waste from landfill. Check out SFO's sustainability website to learn more.
Join this tour to learn about SFO's zero waste program and initiatives -past, present, and future! This will be a landside pre-security, walking tour of Airport terminals to see zero waste initiatives in action guided by SFO sustainability staff. Please wear comfortable walking shoes (1 mile walk).
Due to space constraints, zero waste tour attendance is capped at 30 guests. However, we invite you to attend our other Climate Week SF Earth Day events including panels on SFO Zero Waste and Net Zero Energy programs.
By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of SF Climate Week.
