Brooklyn Running Co. and Beem Light Sauna are teaming up for a one of a kind recovery experience built for runners. Whether you just crossed the finish line at the Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon or you are simply curious about the benefits of sauna and heat training — this one is for you.

Meet us at Brooklyn Running Co. at 7PM where Beem's team will kick things off with a short educational talk covering infrared sauna, red light therapy, and the science behind heat training for runners. From there choose your pace — a recovery walk of about one mile or a run of about three miles to Beem Light Sauna at 367 5th Avenue in Park Slope. Once you arrive enjoy complimentary sauna and red light therapy sessions, plus water and electrolytes to keep you going.

How the sessions work: The first 36 participants receive both an infrared sauna session and a red light therapy session. The next 36 participants receive an infrared sauna session. All remaining participants will receive two sessions to enjoy at a later date with an expiration of May 31st. Sauna sessions run in 30 minute intervals and red light therapy in 20 minute intervals.

As a bonus we will be raffling off some incredible prizes from Beem including a 3 month unlimited membership and a range of session packs.
