For our second night at Wanakam, we move from the folklore of the coast to the misty, atmospheric highlands of the Idukki hills.

This film is a hauntingly beautiful exploration of guilt, redemption, and the fragility of the human conscience. It tells the story of a lonely farm manager who strikes up an innocent but profound connection with the wife of his subordinate. When a moment of impulsive passion leads to a tragic spiral, the film transforms into a meditative journey through the lush, rain-soaked tea plantations of South India.

Directed by a visionary of the Malayalam New Wave, the cinematography captures the landscape not just as a setting, but as a silent witness to the characters' inner turmoil. It is a slow-burn drama that asks deep questions about morality and the weight of the secrets we carry.

For those wanting a full meal, we are offering a special dinner ticket.The Atmosphere: We invite you to settle in, leave the rush of the city at the door, and lose yourself in the vibrant greens and earthy textures of the Malabar coast.

We want our community space to be accessible to everyone, so we offer two ways to join us:

Community Ticket (Free): Entry to the screening and the post-film conversation.Dinner & Film Ticket (€14,50): Includes entry plus a hearty Curry Bowl (your choice of Protein or Vegan), served with fragrant rice and a seasonal side dish.Please note: Drinks are not included in the ticket price and can be ordered separately at the bar.

Wednesday 29/04 | 19:30 Doors open at 19:00 for snacks and settling in. Film starts promptly at 19:30.
