Testing in Perl - part 3

by Perl Maven

About this event

Testing is a core feature of Perl. Knowing how to test your application is key for both the business value of your application and your own personal sanity. It can answer question like Is my code doing what it is supposed to do?What happens to the rest of the code if I change something here? What happens when I upgrade a module I depend on?What happens when I upgrade Perl? What happens when I change another external dependency (e.g. upgrade a database, replace the Operating System?) This is a multi-part course following the Testing in Perl book. It is also going to be an excellent opportunity to update the book and to look around how various CPAN modules are being tested. The presentation itself is free of charge. The video recordings will be uploaded to the Code Maven Academy for the paying customers. In order to let people join the course later or just to catch up if they missed something, for the time being the videos will be accessible free of charge. They only require registration on the Code Maven Academy
