Will Shares: Creator of The Ecology Dept.
A 15 year music industry veteran who has worked with Rock & Roll Hall of Famers and many of the world's leading music companies. With a background in creativity and entertainment media, Will created The Ecology Dept. to lead the way in bringing emphasis to this often overlooked but foundational area of festival ecology.
His love for ecology stems from the constant learning and growth that comes from an ability to measure the relationship between all things and the ability to act to increase beneficial impact and decrease degenerative impact.
Katrina DeAngelis: Ecological Systems Designer
A regenerative leadership strategist and ecosystem architect who works with community builders and cultural leaders to shape organizations and communities that can carry the future they are here to create.
She helps leaders and teams evolve beyond outdated leadership paradigms and rebuild their internal and external operating systems — so their work, communities, and organizations can thrive without burning people or values in the process.
Over the past decade, Katrina has designed and delivered leadership development programs globally. She helps leaders build businesses, communities, and ecosystems that don’t just perform, but regenerate people, organizations and cultures from the inside out.
Zoe Berman: Festival Ecology Specialist / Former COO of Sound Future
Specialized in the intersection of music and environmental sustainability. She served as Chief Operating Officer at Sound Future, leveraging the power of live music to restore nature, support farmers, and drive positive community impact.
Along with being featured as an expert panelist Zoe will be sharing a live acoustic performance from 6pm-7pm.
Bringing nearly a decade of experience as a singer-songwriter and touring musician, Zoe has a master’s in Global Entertainment & Music Business from Berklee College of Music, where she conducted her thesis on the integration of sustainability initiatives at music festivals. She also comes with a breadth of experience in research and implementing ecological data protocols at live events.
Natalie Flores: Founder of NourishLA & Good Karma Gardens Natalie Flores, is an urban farmer, mother, and waste reduction specialist with a specific emphasis on mitigating resource waste and developing solutions to enhance the well-being of her neighbors here in LA.
In 2020, Natalie founded NourishLA, recognizing a substantial need for food assistance within her community. NourishLA has subsequently expanded its operations diverting over 500,000lbs of food to those in need each year by fostering community and advocating for ecological practices that challenge prevailing systems of waste and consumption.
Natalie believes Food serves as a fundamental catalyst for fostering community, beneficial education and celebration. She says "we need each other to build these systems, once they're built- break bread, grow food, celebrate. It doesn't need to be complicated - nature does it, so shall we!"
