Climate, Clean Energy, and Costs: Impacts on California's Energy Outlook
Hosted by Energy and Environmental Economics, Inc. (E3). Learn more at ethree.com.
California stands at a critical crossroads. The state's ambitious grid decarbonization goals are colliding with mounting real-world pressures: rising customer bills dominate headlines, devastating wildfires reshape communities and infrastructure, and clean energy developers face growing resistance to large-scale renewable siting. These challenges raise urgent questions about whether California can chart a path forward that doesn't force tradeoffs between climate action, affordability, and resilience.
Join us for a candid conversation with leaders from across the energy landscape β developers, utilities, and advocacy groups β as we explore the tensions and opportunities at the heart of California's energy future. Can we build a clean energy economy that serves all of these priorities, or are they fundamentally at odds? What does collaboration look like when the stakes are this high?
To be followed by a networking reception with light refreshments and snacks.
