Saundra Liemantoro is 1/2 of Em—Dash, a South East London–based studio and press working across publishing, design, and collaborative print practices. Their work explores accessible approaches to printmaking and the book-form, with a focus on practical methods that can be continued outside of studio environments.Through workshops and collective projects, Em—Dash share techniques that make printmaking approachable using simple tools and everyday materials.
Accessible Printmaking: Kitchen Lithography
This workshop introduces attendees to accessible DIY printmaking techniques that can be practiced with minimal equipment and everyday materials.Kitchen Lithography is a non-toxic, accessible, and affordable printmaking technique which uses household items like aluminium foil, cola, and oil-based ink to create lithographic prints. Guests will learn how this technique work, experiment, and produce prints of their own.The workshop is open to all levels of experience and encourages experimentation and hands-on making in a relaxed and supportive environment.By the end of the session, leave with printed work and practical knowledge that can continue to develop independently.First come first serve.
