On 27 March 2026, something significant happened. The India Federation of Germany - Bundesverband der Indischen Vereinigungen e.V. (in Gründung) was officially founded in Munich - and with it, 300,000+ people of Indian origin in Germany stepped into a new era. For the first time, our community has a single, democratic, and nationally credible voice.

But a federation is only as strong as the community that builds it. This is where you come in.

What to Expect

This is not a presentation. It is a conversation.

We are co-creating the IFG roadmap for 2026 and 2027 - the big-ticket projects, the priorities, and the initiatives that matter most to our community. Your experience, your networks, and your voice are essential to getting this right. The organizations that shape the roadmap today will define what this federation stands for tomorrow.

Bavaria Regional Chapter Launch - Landesverband Bayern

We are proud to launch the Bavaria Regional Chapter (Landesverband Bayern) at this event. Bavaria is home to one of Germany's largest and most active Indian diaspora communities. The chapter will have its own elected board, its own projects, and direct engagement with the Bavarian state government. This is your invitation to help lead it.
