Climate solutions targeting superpollutants are some of the fastest and most cost-effective opportunities to slow global warming.
Superpollutants — such as methane, black carbon, and refrigerant gases — are responsible for nearly half of today’s warming.
This panel, led by Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), will explore how NGOs and leading companies are accelerating solutions by turning data into action. New efforts such as the $100 million Superpollutant Action Initiative and the Dairy Methane Action Alliance (DMAA) demonstrate high-impact solutions across energy, refrigerants and agriculture.
Attendees will learn how partnerships, corporate climate finance, cross-sector collaboration, and scientific rigor can unlock immediate climate, health, and economic benefits. Panelists will discuss what needs to happen next to accelerate action.
Speakers include:
Elizabeth Sturcken, Vice President of Net Zero Action and Ambition, Environmental Defense Fund (EDF)Danielle Wright, Executive Director, North American Sustainable Refrigeration CouncilVrashabh Kapate, Senior Manager, Global Dairy Sector, EDFJason Grillo, Founder, SPECTRA
Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) links science, economics, law, and innovative private-sector partnerships to turn urgent climate solutions into action.
