Critique #3: AI for Precision Neurology [VIRTUAL]

Community Critique #3 is a chance for Encode Fellows to pause half way through their 12-month build. ​​​What lessons have been learnt?​​​What strategies are being explored to scale the impact of their research?​​​What form could this take to go from lab > public by September? ​​​These questions can't be answered in isolation, so we're seeking your input. About this Critique: Most neurological diseases are complex and heterogeneous, and identical treatment plans often fail for individual patients who have the same diagnosis. Ayush is developing a multimodal AI system that can ingest patient-level genetic and neuroimaging data and provide accurate and interpretable predictions across a wide range of neurological diseases. This research could enable clinical decision support, identify patient-specific drug targets, and advance AI-driven neurotherapeutic development.
