Join us at Philly Joe’s Jazz Club for a special support concert featuring two bands connected to Tallinn’s slightly chaotic intersection of music, startups, and questionable artistic decisions. All proceeds go directly to supporting Philly Joe’s Jazz Club, one of Tallinn’s most important live music stages. For music, community and controlled musical chaos. For a good cause. KING:FISH is a compact duo playing upbeat covers, odd musical detours, and several original songs that lean toward the absurd. Think groove, irony, storytelling and the occasional moment where things work better than expected. Jevgeni Kabanov — who occasionally performs under the stage persona Jamie King — brings guitar, vocals and a taste for playful songwriting, while Mark Fishel holds everything together with keyboard bass lines and harmonies that make the duo sound far larger than it should.
