Parents and carers of young people aged 16 and over – Join us for a session on Habilitation & Independence
This online session is designed for parents and carers of vision impaired young people aged 16 and over. The focus will be on habilitation and independence, exploring how to support your young person to develop independent living skills as they move towards adulthood.
We’ll be joined by RSBC's Habilitation Specialist, who will share advice and answer your questions.
This friendly and practical session will cover:
Independent living skills for post‑16 young peopleSupporting young people to develop confidence and independence
What to expect:
A welcoming space to learn and ask questionsA chance to connect with other parents and carers
This session will take place online via Zoom, and we’ll send you the Zoom details once you’ve registered for the event.
