Join Foresight Institute and Ozzie Gooen for a short discussion on Superhuman Governance: AI Judgment for High-Stakes Decisions
AI systems are approaching or exceeding human performance on many kinds of consequential judgment, but considerable work remains at the scaffolding and model layers before such systems can be trusted with high-stakes decisions. As that work matures, we can aim these systems at the choices that matter most: critical AI deployment decisions, major government policy, and institutional strategy at leading labs and foundations. This talk provides an overview of how this could unfold and argues for a few approaches that look like safe bets. It situates the agenda within defensive acceleration: using better AI to harden civilization against the coming decades
