This panel will explore how California’s business community can help advance policies that support sustainability, equity, and a stakeholder economy. Panelists from organizations including the California Green Business Network, ClimateVoice, and the American Sustainable Business Network, will share practical ways companies can engage in advocacy, both individually and collectively, to help shape outcomes that support responsible business practices.
Attendees will also learn about the new requirement for B Corp–certified companies to engage in advocacy as part of the certification process, reflecting a growing recognition that responsible business leadership extends beyond internal operations. The discussion will feature real-world examples from ASBN business members who are translating their values into meaningful policy action, demonstrating how advocacy can amplify impact, strengthen credibility, and help build a more just and sustainable economy.
