Markets have a been historically better at predicting the future than any other governance/voting mechanisms.Futarchy, coined by economist Robin Hanson in 2007, leverages markets' predictive accuracy (as seen in Polymarket outperforming polls during the 2024 U.S. election) to minimize biases in DAOs.On Solana it was popularized by the Proph3t and was spread to the masses leading to major companies raising on futarchy based launchpads.
