Ready to start livecoding music?Installation takes 5 minutes. Creating your first beat takes an hour. And playing your first show takes 3-6 weeks depending on your skill level.The class will cover how to use Soniare's Beat DJ live performance music software. You will get hands on experience creating songs and performing in a low stakes environment.About the instructor:Nes Croft is the founder of Soniare and creator of Beat DJ. Nes is a musician and computer engineer with 2 decades of music production experience across a wide array of genres.You will also be invited to our Discord community where you can participate in free office hours and multiplayer sessions so you'll have lots of opportunities to improve and learn.Live original music is such an underrated and valuable experience for our communities. Artists are often hidden behind the scenes while DJ's play their music. But what if artists could express themselves clearly and efficiently in the moment using new music technology?That is where Beat DJ comes in. It packages everything you need into one piece of software for creating music and playing live shows without the hassle of physical wiring, or complex software dependencies.
