The energy transition will demand grid-scale batteries and by 2030, only 4% will be stationary. Moon Five is unlocking the other 96%. Join us at our headquarters to tour our facility, meet our CEO, and see a live demonstration of how our technology better utilizes existing infrastructure and stranded assets to deliver a premium amenity today that will be the backbone of tomorrow's distributed energy economy.
Our headquarters is located in northwest Berkeley about 10 miles east of San Francisco. For those traveling via public transport, we recommend taking BART to the North Berkeley station. From there, you can take Lyft a bike (~ 1 mile), grab an Uber/Lyft, or take the 12 or 52 buses to our office.
This tour will provide a briefing of Moon Fiveβs technology, a technology demonstration, and a discussion of our expansion plans.
ABOUT US: Moon Five is turning apartments into power plants. We install vehicle-grid connection points at multifamily buildings that unlock the largest and most affordable source of energy arbitrage and electrical resiliency. Turning what is a stranded asset for 95% of itβs lifetime (an electric vehicle) into a source of electrical stability. Today, EVs on the road hold four to five times more energy storage capacity than all stationary grid storage combined, and that number is projected to reach 20x by 2030. Moon Five is the recipient of a $3.4M California Energy Commission REACH 3.0 grant and have participated in the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator, Berkeley Skydeck, and Cleantech Open programs.
