That journey has taken her from foreign direct investment agencies in New York to the boardrooms of Swiss federal institutions. Today she serves as Director for Global Marketing at Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE), leading international marketing efforts across Europe, the US, and Asia. Before that, she led strategic investment promotion at S-GE with a focus on emerging technologies — AI, blockchain, biotech, and robotics — connecting global innovators with the Swiss ecosystem. As part of that work, she also joined the board of the Home of Blockchain initiative, contributing to Switzerland's positioning as a serious location for decentralized technologies. Her path here was entrepreneurial: co-founder of a communications agency in New York, founder of an innovation consultancy, advisor to economic development agencies from Basel to South Australia and scaling a mentorship program for health tech founders on the US East Coast. Sirpa holds a Master of Arts from the University of Zurich in communication sciences, international law, and social anthropology — a combination that turned out to be exactly the right foundation for a career at the intersection of places, people, and innovation.______About Dr. Katharina Lasota Heller:Dr. Katharina Lasota Heller is an international lawyer and founder of Lexcellence, her own law firm based in Baar, Switzerland. With over 15 years of practice in Canton Zug and deep experience at global firms including DLA Piper, CMS Cameron McKenna, and White & Case, she brings a rare blend of legal expertise and tech industry insight — having led global legal compliance at Naspers, one of the world's largest internet companies. A former President of the European Digital Media Association (EDIMA) and Senior Fellow at the Computer and Communication Industry Association (CCIA), Dr. Lasota Heller is a recognized voice at the intersection of digital policy, international business law, and EU regulation. She has served on the Board of Trustees at the Max Planck Institute in Munich and actively champions Central and Eastern European business interests across Switzerland and the EU. She holds a doctorate supported by the Max Planck Institute and an LL.M. in international economic law from McGeorge School of Law (Sacramento, CA).
