About this event
An afternoon of panels, roundtable discussions, and community — extending the TEDx Bonjour Girls conversation into a space where every woman has a voice.
Some breakthroughs happen on stage. Others happen in conversation.
Inspired by TEDx Bonjour Girls Salon is an intimate afternoon gathering that extends the ideas and energy of the TEDx Bonjour Girls main event into a participatory space for real dialogue. While the morning's TEDx talks spark ideas, the salon is where those ideas meet lived experience.
Join 120 women — founders, professionals, creatives, and builders from across industries — for an afternoon of honest conversation about career pivots, personal reinvention, leadership, and the non-linear paths that define how women actually grow.
This isn't a lecture. It's a dialogue. Through two moderated panel discussions and six themed roundtable conversations, you won't just listen — you'll share, connect, and leave with relationships that last well beyond the afternoon.

Featured Speakers
Jessica Wang Dancer · Former Software Engineer
Jessica left a six-figure tech career to pursue dance — not because she had it all figured out, but because she realized joy shouldn't be something you schedule for later. She speaks from the "messy middle" of reinvention, bringing a raw and honest perspective on what it means to build a life around what keeps you alive.
Nina Cheng Pricing, Finance & Strategy Professional
After years of climbing the corporate ladder in Big Tech, Nina took a sabbatical that changed everything. She discovered that the voices shaping her decisions — family, culture, career incentives — had been drowning out her own. Her talk uses the metaphor of a symphony to explore what it means to become the conductor of your own life.
Chaenara O'Brien Founder, Thought Bakery · AI & Enterprise Go-to-Market Strategist
Chae started her career being measured by systems that weren't designed to recognize how she thinks. She entered university at 16, earned her Master's by 21, and became a CMO by 28 — all while pushing against narrow definitions of talent and intelligence. She speaks on rethinking how we measure potential, especially in the age of AI.
Ying Cao Founder & CEO, LIYT Executive Coaching · Former Chief Digital Product Officer, Barclays
Ying spent nearly two decades on Wall Street before founding LIYT, an AI-powered coaching platform that partners with leading financial institutions and tech companies to develop transformative leaders. At Barclays, she led digital transformation in AI and Web3 and mentored startups through the TechStars/Barclays accelerator. She serves on the boards of several unicorn startups and public companies, and is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) — the highest credential awarded by the International Coaching Federation. Ying holds a Master's in Economics from Yale and a Bachelor's from Peking University.
Echo Lu Chang Cross-border Entrepreneur · Banker · Investor
Echo has spent nearly two decades building businesses and deals across North America and Asia. She co-founded Steiger Dynamics, a high-end gaming hardware company in Los Angeles, building its global supply chain from the ground up. After a successful exit, she joined a publicly listed U.S. bank in New York, where she facilitated over $1 billion in cross-border investment transactions. Most recently, she co-founded Baseline Co. and HowBottle, two sustainable lifestyle brands for the next generation of North American consumers. Echo holds an MBA from UCLA.
Jasmine Fan 范思捷 Director & Senior Investment Strategist, BlackRock · Founder, Hanfu NYC
Jasmine is a Director and Senior Investment Strategist at BlackRock, where she leads global investment research and delivers market insights to institutional and wealth clients across the Americas. Outside of finance, she founded Hanfu NYC in 2014 — a nonprofit dedicated to bringing traditional Chinese culture to life through events and community across the East Coast. Columbia Applied Math, CFA charterholder.
