PaShield Design Lab is an open collaborative session for fashion designers, wearable product thinkers, industrial designers, students, and members of the New York creative technology community to help shape the next generation of child safety wearables from PaShield.

Built by a team of product managers, software engineers, and hardware developers connected to Cornell Tech, PaShield is exploring how a child safety device can feel less like a piece of hardware and more like something a child would naturally want to wear. This session is designed to bring outside creative perspectives into the final design process before the product moves into its next stage.

Guests will work alongside the founding team to explore

wearable form factorsmaterials and finisheschild friendly design languagefashion forward pendant conceptscomfort and usabilityparent trust and privacy considerations

A select number of participants will have the opportunity to present design ideas directly to the team during the session, with standout contributors invited into deeper conversations about future collaboration.
