Let’s be honest… who actually enjoys pitching?
I don’t. And I know for many neurodivergent and disabled founders, pitching can feel unnatural, pressured, or just not built for how our brains work.
But at some point, we do need to be able to talk about our ideas clearly, even just for 4 to 5 minutes.
So instead of forcing a polished performance, this session is about creating a small, relaxed, and supportive space to work on your pitch together.
This session is led as part of LSE Generate DNA (Disability, Neurodiversity & Abilities). It is open to everyone, but it is intentionally designed to create a safe and inclusive environment for neurodivergent and disabled founders.
What to expect:• A simple, practical way to think about your pitch (no jargon)• Time to share your ideas, slides, or rough thoughts• Small group discussions to help shape and improve your pitch• Space to talk openly about things like struggling with structure or working memory, feeling stuck when speaking under pressure, whether (and how) to talk about disability or neurodivergence in your pitch
You’re welcome to come with a rough idea, half-finished slides or no pitch at all.
Messy is encouraged. Notes are welcome. You can read if you want to. This is about getting more comfortable talking about your idea, not getting it perfect.
