by Personal

About this event

Join us for a LAC Zug (Local AI Community, Zug) AI Breakfast, where Dr. Solange Emmenegger will share insights on Computer Vision in Olympic Sports: Connecting Performance, Data and Innovation. Abstract: Computer Vision (CV) is transforming Olympic sports by turning video into actionable performance intelligence. From automated motion tracking and biomechanics analysis to referee assistance and training monitoring, CV enables deeper insights without disrupting the natural training and competition environment. This talk presents different projects we are working on across Olympic disciplines, how we share and manage knowledge, and create synergies between federations, coaches, and researchers. By aligning methodologies and infrastructure, we move beyond isolated solutions toward shared systems, thus accelerating innovation in sports.
