Every month Liberties Journal hosts a Salon at which attendees together ask and answer a provocative question inspired by a recent or upcoming essay in Liberties.
This month’s DC Salon will be Friday, April 24th. Doors will open at 6:30 PM, the Salon will begin at 7:00 and last for an hour.
The Salon theme How does a poem happen? was inspired by the essay "How Poems Happen (For Me)" by A. E. Stallings in the Spring 2026 issue of Liberties.
For newcomers and regulars alike, please feel free to peruse the Liberties Salon: Rules of Engagement in order to familiarize yourself with the proceedings of the event.
