Domenico will draw on over 20 years of experience as a Director of Engineering and Sociotechnical Architect to share how Team Topologies principles translate into real improvements in engineering performance and flow of value. Using examples from Gilt, Hudson’s Bay Company, Thérapie Medical Group, and Rue Gilt Groupe, he’ll explore what works in practice and where organizations often struggle.
The session will also touch on what’s changing in the age of AI. With the second edition of Team Topologies placing greater emphasis on cognitive load, platform groupings, and bounded agency, Domenico will share practical perspectives on how organizations can design for clarity, ownership, and effective collaboration across both human teams and AI-enabled systems.
Expect practical lessons, real-world examples, and an open discussion on how engineering organizations can evolve to perform better in an increasingly complex landscape.
