

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) headquarters building is nearing the completion of a major retrofit, making it one of the first fully decarbonized major renovations in the US.
The building is a destination for architects and allied peers from around the world to collaborate and learnβand for the public to be inspired by the power of design. The ongoing campus renewal project follows the AIA Framework for Design Excellence, which seeks to inform progress toward a zero-carbon, equitable, resilient, and healthy built environment.
