Join us for a briefing on research coming out of the University of Maryland around the integration of satellite embeddings to support conservation. This conversation is led by Associate Research Professor Adrián Pascual.
Adrián Pascual got his PhD in 2018 from the University of Eastern Finland (UEF, Joensuu, Finland) after completing his Forest Engineering education (Bch in 2010 and MSc in 2012) at the University of Valladolid (Spain). His current position is Associate Research Professor at the University of Maryland (College Park UMD) at the Department of Geographical Sciences from where he works for the NASA GEDI Science Mission, the NASA FireSense program and other NASA-funded grants.
