Heading to AVA Summit Canada? Join us for a relaxed prep and co-working session designed to help you make the most of your time at the conference 🌱
Whether it's your first AVA Summit or you've been to several, this session will give you practical tips, answer your questions, and create space to prepare your conference experience — together with the AVA and Hive teams.
What we'll cover:
🎯 What is AVA Summit? — A quick overview for newcomers: who it's for, what to expect, and how it differs from other events in the space📅 Navigating the program — We'll help you figure out what to prioritize and how to plan your energy across 3.5 days📱 Getting set up on Whova — How to use the conference app: browse the agenda, build your personal schedule, DM other attendees, and stay on top of organizer announcements🤝 Tips to get the most out of AVA — Planning 1:1s, balancing sessions with downtime, and being intentional about who you want to connect with❓ Your questions, answered — We'll respond to questions submitted through Luma first, then open the floor. Any questions we don't get to will be answered in a written follow-up guide shared after the session
Bonus if time allows:
⚡ Speed networking — A quick 1:1 to help you walk into AVA already knowing at least one person
🛠 Open co-working (30 min) — Stick around to start building your AVA schedule, message people on Whova, and organize your travel plans — all while hanging out together
📋 Have a question about the AVA experience? Submit it when you register — we'll prioritize Luma questions during the session and include all answers in a mini guide shared afterwards.
This session is about the event experience — tips, logistics, and networking. For questions about AVA policies, programming decisions, or applications, an AVA team member in the chat will direct you to the right contact.
Co-hosted by Hive and AVA International.
