Join us for a hands on Mother's Day workshop at Grounded Studio on May 3, 2026 from 12-3pm.
Participants will have the chance to create their own Milagro. A Milagro is a symbolic folk charm, often in the shape of a heart, Milagros are used to show gratitude or represent a prayer.
Each participant will receive a pre-cut template made of cardboard and will build up the Milagro with traditional Mexican techniques such as paper mache. Once built up, the participants will have the chance to decorate their Milagro with paint, charms, and colored powders.
This workshop will be guided by Mafer.
