Agenda: 16.00-16.30: Door opens, networking 16.30-18.00: Roundtable discussion 18.00-19.00: Networking drinks & food The Roundtable This exclusive roundtable will gather 20-30 high-level participants from EU institutions, national regulators, the DeFi industry, and academia to discuss the evolving regulatory landscape for decentralized finance (DeFi).  In particular, the discussion will focus on the upcoming MiCA 2.0 consultation and address the question: "DeFi and EU Policy Goals: Fit or Friction" The event discussion will be structured around two key questions that participants will receive in advance so that they can prepare their active contributions to the debate. These questions are being developed by the members of the BC4EU Thought Leadership Group on DeFi, which is currently preparing a list of questions that we hope to see in the upcoming public consultation on MiCA 2.0 that the European Commission is expected to publish in April. The session will thus aim to provide some relevant answers to these questions which can then be taken into consideration by the Commission in this consultation process.
