This masterclass demystifies data ethics by moving beyond abstract principles into lived experience. Through interactive ethical games and real-world scenarios, participants explore how values, governance, and design choices shape responsible data use. Agenda: Duration: 3hrs Introduction (20 min) – Why data ethics matters: bias, consent, transparency, accountability.Frameworks & Principles (30 min) – Overview of major ethics frameworks (EU AI Act, DIFC, OECD, REDF).Ethical Games (100 min) – Interactive dilemmas:“Data Dilemmas” game based on Rushworth Kidder’s 4 ethical dilemmas .Live poll on what’s “ethical vs acceptable.”Reflection & Debrief (30 min) – Extract key principles and how to apply them in real-world projects.
