About this eventWhat if the CO₂ in your drink didn’t come from industrial supply chains—but directly from the air?
During San Francisco Climate Week, Aircapture invites you inside Almanac Beer Co. for a behind-the-scenes look at a live direct air capture (DAC) system integrated into a working brewery. In addition to the guided tours, the space will be open for a more casual, drop-in experience.Located just a scenic ferry ride from San Francisco, the journey itself is part of the experience—hop across the bay, grab a beer, and explore carbon capture up close.
This is the first real-world deployment where atmospheric CO₂ is captured on-site and immediately reused in production—powering the world’s first beer carbonated using captured carbon dioxide.
You’ll not only see the system in action—you’ll taste the result.
You’ll experience a guided walkthrough of a live DAC system installed on-site at Almanac Beer Co.:
Learn how CO₂ is captured directly from the atmosphere and purified to beverage gradeSee our integration of DAC into a real industrial brewing processTaste beer made with captured atmospheric CO₂ (it's delicious!)Meet the Aircapture team behind the deployment
How it worksWe will offer guided tours starting every 30 minutes.
Feel free to come and go during the timeframe and we will fit you in the next available tour. Group sizes will be small for a high-quality, interactive experience. In addition to the guided tours, the space will be open for a more casual, drop-in experience. Stick around, grab a beer, and chat with the Aircapture and Almanac teams about how it all works—from the science of carbon capture to what it actually takes to integrate it into brewing. Whether you’re here for a full walkthrough or just curious to learn and connect, you’re welcome to explore at your own pace.

About AircaptureAircapture builds modular direct air capture systems that generate CO₂ on-site—providing a clean, reliable, and circular alternative to traditional CO₂ supply for industries that need CO₂ on premise.By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of SF Climate Week.
