Connecting Families Secondary Years: Accessible Tech and Safe Tech Use Parents and carers of secondary school aged children – Join us for a session on accessible technology and safe tech use We’re inviting you to an online session hosted by our Family Support team, designed to help parents and carers of vision impaired young people explore technology that supports learning and independence during the secondary school years. In this session, we’ll be joined by RSBC's Senior Accessibility Advisor, who will share expert advice and answer your questions. What we’ll cover: Tools and resources that aid learning and independence in secondary yearsApps and devices that can make everyday tasks easierTips for safe and responsible tech useHow RSBC can support families with technology and accessibility What to expect: A welcoming space to learn and ask questionsPractical advice and recommendations you can use at homeA chance to connect with other parents and carers This session will take place online, and we’ll send you the Zoom details once you’ve registered for the event.
