We Create Our Futures is a 3-day festival Oct 16-18th celebrating climate solutions through art, fashion, music, education, and innovation. Dress like you're walking into the beautiful future where nature and people thrive together. ​Think recycled or thrifted treasures, clothes you’ve customized yourself, pieces that show off your roots or heritage, and splashes of earthy colours. Add some funky accessories, flowers, or handmade touches – anything that feels creative, hopeful, and uniquely you.What is solarpunk?"Solarpunk" is a literary, artistic and social movement that envisions and works toward actualizing a sustainable future interconnected with nature and community. ​The "solar" represents solar energy as a renewable energy source and an optimistic vision of the future that rejects climate doomerism, while the "punk" refers to do it yourself and the countercultural, post-capitalist, and re-indigenizing aspects of creating such a future.Want to join the curation or volunteer?
