The best rooftop pool day passes in Dubai, 2026

A ranked guide to the rooftop and infinity pool day passes in Dubai actually worth the AED in 2026 — what each pass includes, what it really costs, and which ones to skip.

Omar HaddadOmar Haddad·9 April 2026·5 min read·Dubai

Right, yallah, let us talk Dubai pool day passes for 2026. The market has matured properly — the prices have stabilised, the formats are clearer, and there is now genuine value at every price tier from 200 AED to 700 AED. The trick is knowing what each pass actually includes versus what the marketing says it includes. Wallah I have been caught out enough times to write this list.

Here is the ranked list. Mid-week prices, what is in the pass, what is not in the pass, and which ones to skip.

How I picked

Three things. The pool itself — size, view, sunbed comfort, water temperature (yes, this matters in summer). The pass — what is included versus what costs extra. The food and bar — is the kitchen actually good or are you paying tourist prices for ok food?

1. Cé La Vi — Address Sky View

Best mid-range rooftop pool in the city. The pool is on the 75th floor of the Address Sky View, the view of the Burj Khalifa is genuinly unreal from the water, and the day pass is a 250 AED minimum spend redeemable on food and drinks.

What works: the 250 AED minimum spend is generous — it covers a reasonable lunch and a couple of drinks, which is exactly what you want on a pool day. The pool is the right size (not the postage-stamp infinity edge that some places try to pass off), and the cabanas if you upgrade are properly comfortable.

Mid-week is when to go. Friday-Saturday it is properly busy and you want to be there for 11am to get a good sunbed.

2. SAL — Burj Al Arab

The premium pick. 700 AED day pass at the Burj Al Arab beach club. 350 AED of that is redeemable on food and drinks, which softens the blow. The pool is the iconic one — you have seen it in every Dubai marketing photo for fifteen years.

Worth it once. Not a regular spot. The food is genuinely excellent — the lobster roll is the best in Dubai, full claim, will defend — and the service is the calibrated kind you do not get anywhere else in the city.

Booking essential. Friday-Saturday rates are higher and the pool is busy. Mid-week is the move and they will let you stay till 7pm without rushing you out.

3. Drift Beach Club — One&Only Royal Mirage

Beach club not rooftop, but the pool is the right size and on the right day this is the best pool day in Dubai. 500 AED weekday day pass, 700 AED weekend, includes 250 AED redeemable.

Why it is on the list: the food is the move. Drift's kitchen is actually one of the best beach club kitchens in the city. The pool is heated in winter (matters more than you think — January-February the water elsewhere is cold), and the loungers are the kind that you can fall asleep on for two hours and not regret.

4. Mr. Miyagi's rooftop — JLT

Underrated. Smaller pool, no queue, decent food, 200 AED minimum spend redeemable. JLT location which means easier parking and quieter crowd.

Best for: a Sunday or Monday when you want a pool day without committing to a 500 AED spend. The pool is small but well-maintained, the rooftop view is JLT towers (not iconic but pleasant), and the kitchen does proper Japanese fusion.

If you live in JLT, Marina or Greens this is your default mid-week pool day. Wallah, it is.

5. Address Beach Resort rooftop

The 77th floor edge pool. The view is the whole pitch — the longest infinity edge pool in Dubai, the JBR coastline below, the Palm in the distance. 350 AED day pass, 175 AED redeemable.

What you should know: the pool is shallow (about 1.2m), which is fine for floating and view-watching but not for a proper swim. The food is fine but not the reason to come. The pool is the reason to come, and the photos look exactly like the marketing.

Mid-week. Get there for 11am for the best sunbeds along the edge.

6. FIVE Palm Jumeirah pool

Lively, music-led, more pool club than serene rooftop. 300 AED weekday day pass, 600 AED weekend.

Important: this is not a quiet pool day. There is music from midday, the volume is real, and by 4pm it is properly a party. If that is what you want, FIVE is the move. If you want quiet, do not come here.

The food is fine, the drinks are properly poured, and the crowd is mixed tourists and Dubai regulars in roughly equal measure.

What I left off

I left off two of the higher-end hotel pools that have raised their day pass prices to 800-1000 AED with a low minimum spend. The pool is fine. The food is fine. But 1000 AED for a day pass with 200 AED redeemable is bad value compared to SAL at 700 with 350 redeemable. Yallah, no.

I also left off the Atlantis day pass — it is fine, the kids will love it, but it is a different category. This list is rooftop and proper pools, not water park.

Practical bits

Book ahead. All listed venues take bookings via their site or via the Privilee app for members. Walk-in is possible mid-week but not guaranteed.

Food and drinks: assume the in-pool prices are 1.5x normal. The minimum spends are redeemable but you will spend more than the minimum. Plan for 100-200 AED on top of the day pass.

Towels and sunbeds: all listed venues include both. Cabana upgrades are 300-800 AED extra and only worth it for a group of four or more.

Quick picks

If you go once and want the iconic shot: SAL at the Burj Al Arab. If you go regularly and want value: Cé La Vi or Mr. Miyagi's mid-week. If you want a beach club and a heated pool in winter: Drift. If you want a party: FIVE.

I keep a Dubai events page on Rifio that picks up day pass deals, pool parties and the rotating Friday-Saturday brunches. The deals reset every quarter and the new venue openings always run a launch promo that is worth catching. Worth a save.
